Judo entered its third year as a sanctioned sport of the OIA. Although its counterpart, the ILH
(private schools) had no teams. The Tigers, the defending champs for the past two years attempted once again to capture the public school crown.
Losing many of last year's team to graduation, the Tigers spent the year rebuilding for the
coming season.
Their schedule included matches with Kaimuki, Aiea, Castle, Waipahu, Kalani, Moanalua, Pearl
City and Roosevelt.
The OIA Championships were held at McKinley on April 23.
