First day McKinleyites eventually found their way past the statue oval, past the administration building and cafeteria to the Student Council Gymnasium where a scramble-registration took place with class level, alphabetical system and computer cards. All classes were open for students to sign up and complete their class schedules for the year. Required courses took precedent over electives and manipulating or figuring out which course should be taken at which period was quite a task for sophomores but old stuff for seniors.
