Many things have affected the McKinley of today and the direction in which it was focused. But, it is not the school alone; students of different cultures with ever-changing ideas and attitudes, the faculty's philosophy on education and the administration's management of the school policies are all determining factors of McKinley's uniqueness.
Add these primary components to teaching, learning and just relating to one another, and the picture of McKinley becomes complete.
