PTA, Alumni Seek Involvement
The McKinley Parent Teachers Association worked closely with the school to improve parent, teacher and student relationships. Besides the officers pictured above are Mr. Bernard Shimamoto, second vice president: Mrs. Lily Lum, third vice president; Mr. James Hirano, treasurer; Mr. Roger Takamori, past president. Mrs. Rose Pfund was an active participant on the school coordinating committee.
The McKinley Alumni Association's annual dinner took place at the Hong Kung Restaurant on September 26. The classes of 1915, '25, '35, '45, '55, '65 and '75 were honored. The association now has its own room next to 221 in the English Building.
